Boosting Cancer Awareness: Raah-e- Aseman’s Workshop for Primary Educators in Semnan

SEMNAN, Iran October 22, 2025, The Raah-e- Aseman Charity Foundation, in collaboration with the Scientific and Educational Association of Primary School Teachers, successfully conducted its second workshop focused on the prevention of genital cancers. Held at the Khadijeh Kobra School auditorium, the event saw the participation of 149 primary school teachers from across Semnan, aiming to enhance awareness and knowledge on early detection and prevention strategies.

Ms. Masoumeh Etemadi, an honorary member and instructor from Raah-e- Aseman’s Education and Prevention Committee, delivered the educational session. She provided comprehensive insights into female genital cancers, outlining key prevention methods and emphasizing the critical role of early diagnosis in improving treatment outcomes.

Raah-e- Aseman Charity Foundation highlights the profound importance of such educational programs for the general public, especially diverse community groups. The foundation believes these initiatives empower individuals to identify risk factors, enabling them to take proactive steps towards early detection and treatment. This educational investment is crucial for fostering both individual and community health, encouraging people to play an active role in their well-being.

Upon completion, participants were awarded joint certificates of attendance from both the Raah-e -Aseman Charity Foundation and the Scientific and Educational Association of Primary School Teachers. The workshop concluded with several teachers further engaging with the foundation’s mission by receiving its quarterly newsletter, a “Raah-e- Aseman” charity box, or by completing supporter forms to officially join the “Friends of Raah-e- Aseman” network.
