Pathway to Hope
Semnan, February 4Th – In a powerful display of community spirit and commitment to health, the Raah-e-Aseman Charity Foundation hosted a highly successful “Pathway to Hope” walkathon on World Cancer Day. The event, held alongside the site of the Foundation’s groundbreaking Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment Center project on 15 Khordad Boulevard, drew a vibrant crowd of participants of all ages and fitness levels.
The program, designed to raise awareness and support for cancer patients and their families, was made possible through the invaluable collaboration of the Semnan Athletics Board, the Semnan General Sports Board, and the Semnan Province branch of Day Insurance.
The event, filled with uplifting activities and entertainment, aimed to foster a sense of community and hope among attendees. Organizers expressed their gratitude for the strong support from all participating organizations, which played a vital role in the event’s success.
The day kicked off with a dynamic warm-up session led by Raah-e-Aseman’s Head of Sports Affairs, Mr. Yaser Khorshidi, preparing participants for the walk. Adding to the excitement, three professional cycling teams – Pedal, Oxygen, and Amitis – participated in the walkathon, inspiring participants with their dedication to fitness.
A competitive men’s race also took place, attracting both seasoned runners and amateur enthusiasts. The top five finishers were:

The winners were recognized with awards and certificates of appreciation.
