“Bringing Joy to Cancer Patients on Yalda Night”
The Raah-e- Aseman Charity Foundation and the staff of the Koosar Hospital’s chemotherapy ward collaborated to bring smiles to the faces of cancer patients on Yalda night. Through the distribution of seasonal fruit baskets, small potted plants symbolizing hope and growth, and personalized gifts such as scarves or hats, the foundation created memorable moments for patients. A live music performance by renowned artists Mohammadreza Haqiqat and Javad Namdchi further enhanced the evening, providing moments of peace and hope for patients and their families.
“These gifts are more meaningful than material; they show us that we haven’t been forgotten,” expressed an emotional patient.
Ahmad Sedighi, Managing Director of the Rah-e Aseman Foundation, expressed gratitude to the compassionate staff of the chemotherapy ward, emphasizing the significance of such initiatives in boosting patients’ morale. Zahra Sadeghi, Director of Social Services at Rah-e Aseman, highlighted the opportunity for donors to support cancer patients in similar ways. She noted that many of these individuals require emotional support to maintain their spirits and enjoy life’s special moments.
During the visit, Dr. Masoumeh Masoudian was honored with a commemorative plaque for her invaluable contributions as a compassionate supporter of Rah-e Aseman, providing valuable counseling to patients and social services staff.
Raah-e- Aseman extends its gratitude to all donors who make it possible to foster a sense of community among cancer patients.
